Alonzo claims to be the shining example of toughness. He was part of a package traded for Carter, but just took his $10 million and never played a game for Toronto. At least when he mentioned image and leadership, he was referring to David Stern and not himself.

The NBA has gone soft. I miss that old school physical style too. The way league is now, I think I’ve seen PGA golf tournaments more physical. David Stern is a joke. Glad he’s finally leaving in February.

Zo will always be a legend in Miami. Who can forget JVG desperately grabbing Zo’s ankles during one Heat-Knicks scrum? A shame that kidney issues robbed him of prime years, but he was still a crucial part of Miami’s first title. Even in that late hour of their respective careers’, the Shaq-Zo 1-2 punch was pretty fierce.

Really, though:
