I buy it but not for the reasons Chandler states. I think Melo was a little embarrassed and angry that Durant got that other forward spot, especially in such a high profile event. I think he’s focused for the first time in his career on doing more than just scoring and it shows. I don’t think he’ll ever catch Durant or Lebron but it’s good to have another bona fide star (fun to watch + elite team) in the league.
