Mavs are a joke? Lakers sitting at about the same record- split the 2 games WITHOUT Dirk. Lakers with “4 hall of famers” , 3 coaches and sitting under .500? They are the joke, as are you, you sh**weasel.

I love D. Fish but this is laughable!! Two years removed from a title and the Mavs are a joke. Serves Cuban right for having such a big mouth.

It seems that Kurt didn’t watch many games by the Mavs. They struggled early in the first five minutes and late in the fourth, very often. Both can be fixed by experience. I don’t think Fisher would make a gift like six consecutive Turnovers in a fourth quarter. Being a starter doesn’t mean that he plays more minutes.
Collison gets tired and unaware by his always high-speed. Fewer minutes could help him.

That doesn’t mean that Fisher is a very good choice. They made the mistake earlier. They had Jones and Beaubois for years: A trade to save money for keeping Kidd would have been the better decision and the better mentor for a young PG.

And what to expect from Collison? The first five games he was on a level, that Indiana was heavily criticized for trading him without need. Maybe it was over his level, and his plays are easy to read, but a coach can expect from a PG to play something easy and effective after the first 3 TOs.
