Kevin Garnett is a big boy who has taken – and delivered- plenty of hard hits during his 20 years in the NBA.

Rondo hurt his team. Try to glorify it all you want, but ultimately, he hurt his team, and it’s not even close to brave either – he took on Kris Humphries, not Charles Oakley.

It’s not noble, smart, professional, or respectable to hurt your team when you’re supposed to be a leader. He’s not a kid – he’s 26, and Pierce and Garnett are nearing retirement, so the Celtics’ only hope of being relevant in 2 years is for Rondo to take over. And this is not encouraging.
