With all of those things said, you cant blame monta for our woes as a team. We didnt play defense when monta was here, not as a team or in any circumstance. Im happy for the changes we made, but people insist that curry is the future and the dude is playing on borrowed time. And Bogut…..nuff said. Festus….awesome, barnes awesome… Granted. Monta was is 6-3, so you cant blame him for being scored on by bigger 2 guards….one of the mane reasons people iverson couldnt get all the accolades he deserved. (And no I am not comparing monta to iverson…just a fact that pertains to this discussion) bottom line, I’m concur that winning a title with monta at the helm would be tough. But if we’re gonna sell the farm, make sure you’re getting what you really need in return…a hurt center isnt that!

im from oakland too and no matter who the coach is, monta is too small to play good D. hes good at gambling and hes never had a coach that really taught him how to play D but he was always going to prevent us from being a good defensive team and a good rebounding team. he gave us a lot of good years but im glad he’s out of there letting the tank happen and getting us harrison barnes. I’d much rather have a hurt and hopefully healthy in a few months bogut, barnes, ezeli, and the veteran presence in jefferson even if he doesnt give us much PT. theres a reason why were having the best start of our season since We Believe.

Whether or not anyone feels any way about Monta, Bogut was not the answer. Not by any means!!!!!!!

Ummm david, Monta was not the reason we couldnt play defense. Monta was under Nellie for 80 percent of his career, cmon Son. Im a warrior fan, from Oakland, CA. Monta has never been he reason for our woes dude. Calm that down fam!!! As for steph, the only thing slowin down steph is that bum ankle!!!!!!

and in oakland, the warriors are very thankful to finally be playing defense and winning games will out monta slowing down steph. we also got festus ezeli out of the trade and that straight up for monta is a win
