You are correct…that’s what I get for assuming a guy’s skill on one shot or by size. Collison hit that half-court shot a fraction late after 3 Qs and I thought he was at least an OK shooter. But it seems Crowder shoot them 3 times as much as Collison and was subbed in TO SHOOT THE 3 LOL.

Collison has made 6 3′s all year and is barely over 30%. Crowder is actually a much better shooter than Collison. He’s a 38% three point shooter and has made almost the same number of 3′s as Collison has attempted

Regarding the Sixers game, before the Mayo purpose miss I thought it was odd that Rick Carlisle subbed Crowder for Collison because it seemed to me that he should have kept somebody on the outside with some shooting ability. There are only so many big men needed for the paint for this final miss. Then the ball ends up getting kicked out to Crowder who bricks the 3. Had he kept Collison in, that would have been his three, and I’m betting he would have had a better chance to hit that shot.

Either way, good win for the Sixers and no matter how much the so-called experts want to kill the Sixers for the Bynum trade, these are the same national people who have no clue what they are talking about when they look at a local situation. Just like we fans didn’t know what we had with McNabb(we were right…he was done), they don’t know what we have with Andy Reid(he’s toast), they know nothing about how Iguadola fit in with this team. He didn’t. He can’t create his own shot, and for a guy making the max, he had to go. Even if Bynum never plays a game it was worth the trade to get rid of that contract.
