@davidly is that you Kurt? Anyway if you read the comment and tone of the comment, the point wasn’t concern for the grieving. It was to point out that if you make an error in your reporting, make a notation of the error and the correction. Take extra diligence when reporting on sensitive topics, such as the funeral services of the recently deceased. Times have changed my friend. The line between journalism and blogging is blurred. If you expect consumers to have confidence in your product, and that is what probasketballtalk.com is, then you should exhibit integrity in that product. If you are fine digesting misinformation on a constant basis, that is your perogative.

Good that you corrected your error Kurt, but you could have had the integrity to put a correction notation at the end of the article. Something like “Correction: A previous version of this article incorrectly stated that the Rockets play the Raptors on Friday,” would have worked. But I’m guessing that professional integrity is not too high on your pecking order.

Show some respect to the grieving family by doing thorough, diligent work, especially since it is mentioning the funeral service of their deceased daughter. They need to hire a editor for you, Kurt.
