Kurt, don’t sound so defensive bro, you didn’t need the parenthesis. It’s a pretty common observation to see, makes sense it might show up in multiple power rankings… Also I second broncobeta.

Not that it matters, but the Cavs have been playing teams tough. Have played teams with a combined 95-77 record. Have been playing without Kyrie. Lost to Miami by 2 (in a game they were controlling until the final 2 minutes) and Memphis by 6 (when, again they were controlling the whole game until the final 6 minutes and went into the foul game). Not saying they should be ranked in top 20, but they should probably be around 25 when you take into account the circumstances and how the games have actually gone and not just look at the record.

It doesn’t matter what he puts up for numbers he isn’t now nor ever will be a max contract guy. That would have killed any possible plans for rebuilding straddling themselves with that contract. Add to it the quality players he’s surrounded with in Brooklyn, would he be this effective with the Magic’s roster?

Not a lot to argue with, but I would have the Knicks ahead of the Clips. Clippers have slipped. I would take exception to the Hawks at #7. It will be interesting to see if Shumpert and Stoudemire can add something to the Knicks when they return or whether they will ruin a good thing. Also, Avery Bradley’s ball-hawking defense might be a welcomed addition to Boston.

For serious. The logic here is really screwed up.

The Grizz, loose to the Nuggs and stay number one because the Nuggs are “red-hot”.

The Nuggs, although “red-hot” and earn the Grizz a pass for the top spot, are ranked at 12.

The Warriors, who are above .500, beat the Nets and Mavs while only losing to the “red-hot Nuggs”, move up one spot to 17?
