Kurt Helin Its people like you who are ruining the sport of basketball. GM’S DONT CARE ABOUT PER. So the question is why should we as fans care? The answer is we shouldn’t. Mickael Pietrus was arguably the 2nd best player on the Orlando Magic’s championship team, he was unconscious from 3 and played tremendous defense on everyone from Pierce to Lebron. He was hurt last year and still was counted on by Doc Rivers to guard the opposing teams best player on a nightly basis. With all due respect Kurt, get over yourself.

Nobody except Lakerluver was saying they were a lock. I thought and still think they can get there, and they’ve removed the biggest stumbling block in Mike Brown. The top 2 point guards are hurt, we’ve basically got a whole new starting lineup with a whole new system. Only idiots think things happen overnight.

Believe me, I love seeing the Lakers struggle as much as the next unabashed Kobe hater. But the thing that sucks even more is knowing that they’ll eventually dupe some poor, struggling franchise for a superstar talent, give up pennies on the dollar in return, and probably go further in the playoffs than my Spurs because of it.
