Stats help the tell the story but I agree don’t tell everything. I didn’t say he wasn’t a good player. He’s just not all star level. U see players averaging 12 and 5 assists in the all star game? 10 and 7 boards? That is all. He plays like 28 mins a game. Why? Defensively he’s a liability at times and can’t hit free throws. If he’s so great, wouldn’t u play him 35 mins especially with Hollins, turiaf, odom as backups? To say he’s almost or just as important as Blake griffin omg.

I agree Savvy,

Most of the folk here just googled his stats. But if they had the ability to evaluate talent, they’d quickly see, he is as big of a threat, as any other big man in the league, right now.

He is as explosive as Dwight Howard, minus the attitude and he doesn’t demand the ball. He just plays within the offense.

Since there is a vacuum of talent, at the center position. Because he has a tremendous up-side, with the right attitude, I’d put him in the top 3, when it comes to “CENTERS” .

You’d have to watch the games and not just Google stats to see his impact. He’s been as important to their success if not more so than Griffin. (I know, I know, the crazy highlights and the sponsorships though. That’s what makes a player great, almost forgot)

I agree. He is averaging 10 points and 7 rebounds along with 42% shooting from the freethrow line. That’s not even close to an all star level!

Near all star level? No way.. They barely play him in the 4th quarter and 10 and 7 arent anywhere near all star #s especially with the center position taken out.
