He’s like a pylon on defense. Literally the worst defending PG ever.

And on offense, while he is a good passer, he has no ability to drive to the basket, and no ability to go left. He is easily bullied on the pick and roll by the picker’s defender, b/c he’s not quick enough to turn the corner. He also is not good at drawing fouls…he literally just moves laterally to his right when playing the pick and roll until he finds daylight…he simply cannot penetrate a defense.

If a guy is open, Calderon will find him. But he can’t make plays on his own. He has some good games b/c he is a good shooter and can find holes in bad defenses. But man, he needs to go. The Raptors need to get tougher and grittier, and Calderon is the exact opposite of that (even as a backup, I’d rather Lucas on the floor, at least he pushes the tempo and pressures defenses).
