Lets see point differential 4th best I’m league for Lakers. How did they get that you ask. By crushing the likes of the Pistons, Suns, Golden State & Houston. Mind you Houston is OK as is Phx but hardly the kind of competition that would make that stat meaningful or provide support for a 7 ranking. Oh well.

I’m surprised Portland is rated at 20. They are a lot better than that at this point of the season. But they do have a couple of bad losses.

No argument with these rankings, but did you really drop the “If the playoffs started today, the Bobcats would be a seven seed” line? After 8 frickin’ games??

“The Heat won their first two games. If the playoffs started today, they would have homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs.”

We get that Charlotte is better, but let’s wait until they play more than 10% of their games before we start talking playoffs.
