Grizz looked good. Don’t seem at all like their missing Mayo. Gay may actually be ready to have a breakout year. Definitely going to be a tough out for any team come playoffs.

just because he makes some defensive plays doesn’t mean he’s giving it his all, i saw him run back lazily on that fast break last night. he’s still a one sided player. if he starts giving that effort all night every night over the course of a few seasons like lbj does, then you can consider him a two way player.

I know how difficult it is to ignore the refs, but as a team guys have to understand the refs and their new rules are part of the adversity teams face during the course of new season. its best to adapt, keep playing your game.

Thank you. Everyone seems to be conditioned or scared to call it what it is. The REFS messed up the flow of the game, as usual…in favor to the Grizzlies advantage. Every time the Knicks got a little momentum going, the refs oppressed the knicks with fouls but allowed the Grizzlies to bang on defense. Check the game stats…just look at the foul comparisons. Lol…The NBA will always be a joke

horrible officiating last night j.r. smith getting a flagrant one after he was trying to go for a block but keith bogans the other night grabs barbosa around the neck and its not a flagrant…then last night all the breaks in play cuz the refs are trying to decide what to call messed up the flow of the game. both teams are physical just let it be even its like the refs take things personal

Yeah, you’re wrong ChargerDillon. Melo was playing defense last year under Woodson, and he’s been top 3 or 4 overall on a team full of scrappy defenders. The and against the spurs where he had 9 points, he did EVERYTHING but score in that game.

So you clearly aren watching the games, but relying on SportsCenter clips, because there is literally no way anyone, fan or not, who watched the last 7 games would say that Melo is only “playing one side of the ball”

I’m not a hater when I actually love the Knicks all the way back to the Ewing days. I can’t in all honesty believe Carmelo Anthony will ever be a champion when he only plays one side of the ball.

Going to be a fun team all year to watch, great matchups with the big guns, but I don’t consider them a serious contender ever. Bulls hard defense would out-physical them in a series, Heat would out-everything them series, Celtics would out-physical them in a series. I would love to see the Knicks do it, but I certainly wouldn’t drop a dime to bet on it.
