Didn't say anything about the amount of wins they have. Just said they beat a team with all of their top players injured. So this game said more about the talent of the T-Wolves then the Bobcats cause they were able to almost win the game with out Love, Rubio, Pek, Roy and Chase. MN is 5-3 on the year and have had their top 2 players not play a second. Take the top 2 players off the other NBA teams and see how good they are. Great coaching and players who are about the team no themselves is the difference with them this year

Good for you guys. I'd also be pumped about the progress of BJ Mullens. While I certainly won't be calling for his name on any All Star ballots, he's shown considerable improvement over last year.

If the 'Cats get score another Top 5 pick and hit on it, they could put together a core with some serious potential.

Of course we should take the 4-3 record with a grain of salt. Every game except one has been against a team with at least 1 of their best players injured, and last night the opponent had 6 guys out. But one of our best players is injured too.

The excitement stems from the difference in the way the team is going about its business. They blew a big lead last night, but they finished. They were down big to a team they've never beaten, and came back to win. Certainly Kemba is better, but look at Byron Mullins. I don't think he ever played defense in his life until Mike Dunlap got a hold of him. Even ultra-moody Tyrus Thomas is making effort.

Yes, there's a long way to go. We probably only have 5 guys that would be part of a playoff team's roster. We won't win every close one, and the elite teams will still blow our doors off. But there is plenty enough evidence to believe we will win 25-28 games, and keep building from there.

kemba looks like a completely different player than i saw last year. it will still be a rough season for the bobcats, but to be 4 and 3 right now is a temporarily awesome feeling. it took 2 months to get this many wins last year. woohoo!
