Just have Kobe take Blake on another helicopter ride and drop him off.. somewhere.

Blake used to be quite a shooter and a decent backup PG with a great A/T ratio. it looks like he’s still decent from 3, in limited sample size. He just can’t shoot from anywhere else, apparently. Still a career .387 3-shooter should be able to do …something. His % is better than guys like Michael Redd, “shooters” like matt carroll, and Dirk, btw.

I’ve seen Rashard Lewis, Gilbert Arenas, and Hedo Turkoglu with their MONSTER contracts and low production traded, hell, I’ve even seen Luke Walton traded, but I don’t even think Steve Blake would fetch $5 at a garage sale.

I hope we can talk him into buying him out. No one in their right mind is going to bite the cheese. I would keep Duhon though, it’s always wise to have 3 capable PGs on your roster since it’s the one position you shouldn’t just move guys out of position just to fill the void. Plus with injuries throughout the season you need the insurence.

Why not sign sharp shooter Michael redd? He played with Steve last year in Phoenix an had a pretty good year coming off the bench he can still light it up from the outside

That’s a false rumor. No team in It’s right mind would offer that much. Even if a team offered a normal sized Snickers, the Lakers would have to throw in another player to make it a fair trade.
