Minnesota’s Budinger out three months after knee surgery

We knew what happened to Chase Budinger — he tore the lateral meniscus in his left knee Saturday while playing the Bulls.

What we didn’t know was how long he will be out.

Now we do, via Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports and the NBC Sports Network.

 

The Timberwolves are injury ravaged this season — Kevin Love, Ricky Rubio, Brandon Roy, J.J. Barea, Budinger and after Monday night you can add Nikola Pekovic and his ankle to the list.

All this has the T-Wolves considering adding to the roster.

    Another season clouded by injuries, you’d think this was the NFL with how many players the Wolves keep losing.

    We are going to end up the deepest team in the league by the end of the season or we’ll keep losing guys and have to forfeit games. Feast or famine.
