The Lakers don’t have the players to run D’Antoni’s system. I remember that being a pretty big complaint in New York. The Lakers are still stacked on 2k13 though.

So when the starters go to the bench (cause they are old and injury riddled )….they will have poor scoring and STILL NO D !!!!

Good to see Melo taking the high road. Melo received a lot of well-deserved grief after his blow up last year with D’Antoni. The Knicks went on a great run with Jeremy Lin while Melo was hurt. Funny how they started losing once Melo came back and started hogging the ball.

It is a great fit. If Nash is the QB, distributing the ball, a coach and system he’s familiar with makes a lot of sense. With injuries at point guard and stars not playing defense in New York, the treatment D’Antoni got in New York was a shame.
