So how else would you have a improved the team? The Sixers amnestied Brand this off-season which was a good move. Then they add a center who can dominate when he gets onto the court, in a league where there are very few dominating centers. I also really like the outside shooters they’ve added in Dorrell Wright and Nick Young, both of whom will probably be better once they can play and inside/out game with Bynum. It’s not perfect, but it’s certainly a much better effort then in seasons past.

Most importantly, they got rid of Iggy, who didn’t want to be here and wasn’t a fit for this team. You can rightly say they are last in the line of the big 4, however you can’t knock them for not taking steps to alter the chemistry and makeup of this team now. I feel like the new ownership does care a hell of a lot more then when Snider owned the team. You sound like another impatient Philly fan who just listens to whatever they hear on WIP and re-posts it here.

Great trade by the Sixers. This organization is clueless regardless of who owns it. Would anyone in Philly even care if the team left? They are and always will be the most irrelevant team in Philly. My prediction is Bynum never plays more than 5 games for the Sixers and they will continue to suck until the end of time.

If the Sixers are the 8th seed and have to face the heat there’s plenty to worry about. It’s an early exit from the playoffs.

I’m a huge Bynum fan, and always will be, but the LAKERS made the right move in trading him. That being said, I hope he gets healthy and has a HOF type career in Philly.
