The games that he did play showed him live up to his tenacious reputation, and combined with the newly overpaid (but still with upside potential) DeRozan, they could be a solid background foundation for years to come. The team won’t make the playoffs this year, but they could be a low seed next year or the year after.

As for Landry Fields, he is welcome to get as many opinions as he wants before returning.
