How in the world did you make this an article about how Sean Elliott screwed up?

He’s far from my favorite broadcaster, but he has a right to criticize the players on the floor. It’s part of his job. Saying Cousins should show some humility when they are losing and then pointing out that Duncan owned him immediately after he talked smack was over the line somehow?

But Cousins going after Elliott after the game was OK? Cousins got the better of the exchange? Cousins should be worried about turning around the Kings’ season not what Sean Elliot had to say during a broadcast. What on Earth are you talking about?

Sean Elliott is no good, but at least he’s not as bad as Michael Smith of the LA Clippers. talk about terrible AND a Homer.

I know body language can be misunderstood sometimes, but Cousins has to have the worst I have seen in a long time. He walks sluggishly to the bench during timeouts and pouts quite a bit. That is where the immaturity label comes from. At the same time, it is very correctable and he has all the tools to become a prolific PF in the NBA as time progresses.

I know sports writers keep telling me Cousins is immature. I know coming out of college the word was how immature he was, despite his talent. I don’t know what people expect a guy in his early twenties to be like. He hasn’t been arrested for doing drugs, or driving drunk, or beating his girlfriend. He seems to be the one bright star on a team that is completely inept (if you want immature, check out the owners of the Kings).

Will someone please explain how this guy is immature, instead of just repeating something they heard from everyone else?

Brett, did you even watch this game? Cousins did talk trash then proceeded to get owned.by Duncan. It’s obvious this guy has an attitude problem. Guy was even throwing his arms up in disgust with his teammates after they didn’t pass him the ball. My favorite part of the game occurred after the whistle had been blown, cousins a la Kevin Garnett goaltended Leonards shot, the rebound bounces back to Leonard he shoots it again cousins again tries to block it and it goes in right in his face. What a dumb thug. Sean Elliott is better then 90% of the announcers in the NBA…

I wish that if PRO Basketball will be writing something about the Spurs make it great news for a change. They’ve been doing well and are on top of their division. So much crud thrown at aging stars and yet the Spurs’ Big Three are beating Father Time as we speak.

By the way, have you noticed the aging line up of the Knicks? Where are they now? Yup. Beating Father Time too. Senseless. Relentless.

I know that the Lakers are always in the news with all these dramas, but it would be refreshing to see and read how the other teams are doing: New York, San Antonio, Memphis, Clippers, Philly, Chicago, etc.

And when I say how they’re doing, I mean how great their starts for the season have been. Not some tabloid-worthy newsie.
