There's something wrong when he goes 40 minutes and doesn't shoot a single foul shot.
There's also something wrong when he's playing as many minutes as he is period, when the team is in a stated rebuilding year. Burn him out, get him hurt again. Brilliant.

With more and more data available, smart fans are now quite aware of how inefficient a player who shoots lots of long-2's but not many successful shots at the rim or from 3 is to a team. There's a reason guys like LaMarcus, Kobe, and Gerald Henderson need great offensive rebounders next to them for this type of inefficient pattern to work -- a lack of quality rebounders will kill a team with a guy shooting those long 2's who can't step back another couple feet and hurt defenses for 3 with some regularity (like Dirk).

Also, at first glance it looks like Aldridge is missing an arm from the elbow down.

Something tells me it was questions themselves since the guy who asked them didn't put them in the paper. Also, 7 -17 is nitpicking one of those jumpers go in and he's 8-17 47 percent. Either way versatile bigs like Aldrige don't spend the majority of their time posting up. Can't use him in pick n roll with Lillard if he's in post. Can't spread out the floor if he's in the post. Can't run a motion offense if he's in the post. And if he doesn't shoot at the elbow or high post teams won't guard him when he's there.
