the difference in LA is Mike is trying to coach offense, which he sucks at. He is a defensive specialist trying to teach a new offence to team that doesn’t need it. His offensive strategy in Cleveland was pretty much tossing it to Lebron. He would have done better if he employed a similar strategy in LA – get it inside to DH or swing it to Kobe – not that I agree with that strategy; but he would have won some games. Instead tried to do something he, Mike Brown, is not good at. the players never got comfortable with it. And we are not talking about dumb players here; this was just bad coaching, Simple

Fact alert: Kobe couldn’t even get past the 1st round (or higher than a 7th seed) when he didn’t have any superstar teammates after the Shaq trade. They didn’t even make the playoffs in one of those years.

Now compare that with what LeBron did without superstar teammates in Cleveland.

Mike Brown should’ve resigned when Kobe declared it was his team. It has to be pure torture to have to coach this guy. That Phil Jackson is a smart dude. Let Kobe be a player coach like Bill Russell did back in the day for the Celtics.
