Well said. Two things jump out about this year’s Heat: (1) the ball movement is the best we’ve ever seen in Miami and (2) the bench is usually expanding the lead rather than losing it. I’m sure the rotation will shorten come playoffs, but the more rest we can get for the big FOUR along the way, the better the Heat will be.

We’ll see how everybody is feeling in April, but man, how about the returns on Allen and Lewis thus far? They are both exceeding expectations in my mind. I knew Allen would be a great fit, but it’s about so much more than 3-pointers with him. And Lewis? If he keeps this up he’ll have a healthy role all year.

Yeah, I love the thought of the big three getting 30 (highly efficient ) minutes a night..It may hurt some MVP votes, but this could add years to one’s career (if this is kept up). Long term not short term.

This team is going to be terrifying if they can keep this pace up all season. It totally reminds me of the Oregon ducks..their score is like 50 something by half time and the back ups get starter minutes. lol Everyone is getting a chance to play, but can this style of play work in the playoffs where it becomes half court basketball?

Agreed.

The degree of ball movement, especially when compared to 2010 and early 2011 – when it seemed like LeBron/Wade iso every possession on offense – is a lot of fun to watch.

The Heat aren’t the Spurs, of course, but you can definitely see the chemistry advantages of most of the top 9 guys on the roster playing with each other for 3 seasons.

The bench is so deep…when players rotate in, the offense and defense continues to click.

Worth mentioning how much I’m enjoying this Heat team. Not making any bold predictions or statements. Just saying its so much fun watching the game being played so beautifully.
