Except for that last sentence.

Stuckey’s one of those guys who is a nice piece and could be a good backup off the bench with his aggressive scoring style, energy and defense. But he would never start on a playoff team. He just isn’t good enough.

At some point, you just have to say that while his talent level is high enough to be a contributor in the NBA, it’s not where it needs to be for him to be considered a starter. There are a lot of guards like that. JJ Redick, DJ Augustin, Kirk Heinrich, etc. Solid players, but will never be good enough to start.
