I was like you when I was 12-32 years old. I really was. In my mid 40s, I see the lack of intensity night in and night out. The NBA is marketed toward a younger crowd for a reason. There is no way I’m spending time or money to watch games the essentially mean nothing. Nobody cares if a fourth has homecourt over the fifth seed.

After a few games we have a pretty good idea who has a realistic shot at winning the whole thing – about 6-7. That’s after thousands of games. Going by your logic, they might as well play 100 games to really test “the grind.”

Listen to the Christmas day games. The big regular season day for the league. You’ll hear sneakers squeaking; no intensity. The last few minutes, if close, it’ll pick up like an all star game.

I get you my friend. No hard feelings. It’s just a different perspective based on age and someday you’ll know what I mean. Good luck with fantasy and real team (Nuggets?).

It’s a grind for home court advantage and seed, something that does matter in the playoffs and how upsets can possibly be determined. No relevance? Seriously?

This is what’s wrong with our old generation, they don’t have fun following stats on a nightly basis. Play some Fantasy Basketball too, because it makes the season more exciting than it really is.

I honestly think the 82 games is what makes the NBA season the greatness that it is. Sorry that casual fans can’t take it.

Yes Chuck, there is more to life than acting like a game in November through March has any relevance to the season or life. A younger man doesn’t see the world as broadly.

There is much more out there for you to do. Follow your heart to where it’s guiding you.

What else is he going to do.? Everyone knows Charles likes to hit the tables in Vegas.
