Looking at those 16 banners in the rafters, I say that your argument doesn’t hold water. Just pure vitriolic hate coupled with envy knowing that YOUR franchise couldn’t even achieve 1/16 of what the Lakers already have.

You know what is even funnier?

At the end of the day, I’d still have the Lakers franchise’s accomplishments anytime over your pathetic team’s record. Given the numbers of banners and the consistency of being relevant through THE DECADES, it’s a no-brainer to choose what the Lakers did and got over what your team has ever offered its fans.

So yeah, it’s easier to accept this minor setback.

Why doesn’t the Lakers franchise be more magnanimous and let others win for a change?

Simple really.

The Lakers franchise will never settle for mediocrity. 2nd place is never an option. Talk is cheap. They let their consistent actions through the years be the follow through that there are no moral victories short of a championship.

A shame that Kupcake went brain dead and did not bring in a good young point guard, one who could play defense against the crop of good small point guards. No he had to bring in Ancient Nash and now that’s a bust as Nash is injured. Now we’re stuck with Steve Flake starting as point guard. Where the heck is Derek Fisher? Why hasn’t Kupcake gotten the bright idea to sign up Fish and dump the Flake? Maybe Duhon can get some playing time and rapidly improve to displace the Flake as the backup point guard.

Oh and fire that idiot Buss Boy and bring back the beautiful, intelligent Daughter who did such a great job keeping Phil Jackson around, she has more smarts than her idiot brother ever will.

Nah, it sucks that Nash got hurt.
It IS funny that LA lost with Nash/howard/Kobe all playing.
It IS funny that howard can hit 15/19 FT and still lose.
It IS funny that Kobe can score 40 and still lose.

Beach….Definitely not,

It’s such a small bone but very critical to the stability of the lower leg.

Since the fracture is near the head, closer to the knee, it may be more painful than other fractures to that bone.

It can heal quickly for a young man in his 20′s, with lots of rest and therapy.

But Nash is at an age, where Testosterone starts to drop and bones become more brittle. With his style of play, It may take him a little longer, before he is capable of being effective on the court…..unless he is heavily medicated.
