Even as a Lakers fan, I love watching Duncan play. If you were to take someone who has no idea how to play basketball, and show them one big to model their game after, it would have to be Duncan. I agree, it has been cool watching his career unfold, as he has made for a truly fun rivalry. The Lakers and Spurs have played a ton of high quality, exciting games over the years.

As a huge Spurs fan, there is nothing cooler than seeing Tim Duncan play the way he’s playing now. Knowng his retirement is coming in the next few years is a truly heartbreaking thing to think about, but the fact that he came into the game and became the greatest power forward ever, and will leave the game reminding everyone of that fact with his play makes it so freakin cool to watch the final chapter of his legacy as a player unfold. Keep goin Timmy!!!

It’s not so much their age, but their basketball IQ. I think age is a bit overrated in the league.

It’s like with Kevin Garnett – these Hall of Famers can’t regularly give a team 48 minutes, but they can still give around 30 “elite” minutes per game.

Even at age 37, you see flashes of why they’re consensus first ballot Hall of Famers, and though I’m not a Celtics or Spurs fan, it’s cool to watch.
