Rose is a MAJOR building block for the Bulls future. And water is wet and the sky is blue. Any other shocking news you want to drop. However Taj is also a huge piece. He fits into Thibs style. You dont follow the Bulls so you dont know.

Holiday has the potential to be an allstar? Bwhahaha. You mean behind Rose, D-Williams, Rondo, Wall, Irving, George Hill, Brandon Jennings in the East? He may be on par with everyone I mentioned after Rondo but it'll take injuries (and some luck) for him to be an allstar. But all things being equal and everybody healthy, he aint making the all star team.

wow really? ? He was on the USA select team? You mean the team taht Holiday was captain of?

I'm not saying he isn't good, an no, he is in no way as important to the Bulls future as Holiday is to the sixers. The Bulls future relies on 3 things, Rose, Rose and Rose.

The Sixers relies on Bynum, who can't get teh ball without a solid PG to get him the ball (holiday)

Again, not saying that he isn't a good player, he's a decent NBA player, isn't (and will never be) an all star, but is and will be a solid NBA player. Holiday on the other hand, has the potential to be an all-star

Dude, pump your breaks. You act like Taj is some kind of scrub. He was selected as one of the players to play against the Olympians this summer and is a well respected player in the league. Ask Wade. Jrue is a good player but dont make it like Taj isn't. And Taj IS very important to the Bulls future. Obviously you dont follow this team so you shouldn't really comment on what you dont follow. Makes you look and sound......unintelligent.

Agreed, not sure why Holiday's extension isn't being discussed. The fact that the Sixers will be paying him over $10 million a year is egregious, especially considering that Ty Lawson and Stephen Curry signed for $12 and $11 million per year, respectively. Sixers are signing up for second round and bust. Holiday is definitely more important to the Sixers future than Gibson is to the Bulls. Unfortunately he's just undeserving of that kind of contract.

Taj friggin Gibson's extension gets a story, and no mention of Holiday's? One player is 10x more important to his teams future....it isn't Gibson

Bulls got a great deal out of it and Gibson got paid, an extension, and that security that he wanted.

Works out great for both teams.
