No Kurt, it was not the right decision. People, such as myself, who paid a super inflated ticket price paid to be witness to an historical night in a new building against the crosstown rivals. Brooklynites will show up. I live in BK, the buses are running. Just because that idiot Spike Lee and Bloomberg might have to share a car with strangers to cross the bridge is no reason to stop the game. This would have been a rally cry for the city and the borough… Something to temporarily keep people’s minds off the devastation around us. Instead, you have thousands of disgruntled fans.

why not open the doors for everyone that can get to the game with free admission, a free burger or hot dog and a free beverage??? this would allow several things to happen: 1. the people who can get to the game can watch their team, stay warm, and get a meal; 2. it would promote a stinger fan base for Brooklyn not just in New York, but everywhere. nothing says I LOVE New York quite like paying back your fans…especially when so many of them are in a time of SERIOUS need
