Look at the Unsigned and Overseas lists, and then understand that ‘Sheed was out several seasons and still
had his choice of several teams. My guess is that he still has something left. He will not go at a lot a great 4′s. He will be OK.

getting JR. is imperative at this stage, we need that option to open things up. at first i thought that Woody was right that JR. would be more of a help off the bench. but all thats happen and not having enough to stretch the D, perhaps they should reconsider.

First off, how out of shape would you have to be for it to be three solid weeks before they’d even let you step onto the floor with the team? I’d think you could be in awfully poor shape and still huff and puff through practice. They must have been afraid he’d keel over.

Second, I can almost see a team taking a chance on ‘Sheed if he came to them with a new attitude, looking like he couldn’t wait to get out there and prove something. But he’s in terrible shape and the Knicks STILL can’t wait to give him a shot? Only the Knicks…
