I think a lot of people have forgotten just how good the Grizz were two short years ago. With only one discernable personnel excavation in OJ Mayo, Z-Bo, Conley and Marc Gasol form the right pieces for another shockingly deep postseason run. The X-Factor? Has to be Rudy Gay. In my opinion, Conley and Randolph, and to a certain extent Gasol, are all playing to their ceiling. Gay? He's capable of being one of the top 10 players in the league, especially defensively. If the Grizz are going anywhere, it's on his shoulders. http://thegreatmambino.blogspot.com/2012/09/need-some-rudy-gay-memphis-grizzlies.html

I think that Arthur and Speights are good role players coming off the bench. They provide scoring and rebounds as well as give ZBo and Marc needed rest. If you want to point to a weakness on the bench, I think you have to point to the backup point guard issues. That has been one of the biggest weaknesses for the Grizzlies the last two years. If Bayless can at least dribble and pass, he will be an improvement from last year.

This article is embarrassing.

The Grizzlies didn't add a shooter? Then what are Bayless and Ellington doing on the roster?

Flip Murray is just there as a training camp body and won't make the team. I really have no idea why you mentioned him. Do you know who is on the team and will be coming off the bench? Darrell Arthur, Marreese Speights, and Quincy Poindexter -- three very promising, young players who you didn't even mention. Memphis has one of the deepest and strongest overall rosters in the league. For you to pick "weak bench play" as a talking point is inexcusable.

With all the typos, errors, and misspellings on almost every post here, it's obviously you don't know writing. But, with articles like this -- devoid of any knowledge and lacking evidence of even the most basic, cursory research -- you show that you don't know basketball.

You and this site are an embarrassment to the NBC brand. You must be somebody's nephew or have naked photos of an executive to have gotten and kept this gig thus far. I've read this site for over a year -- all the while hoping y'all would clean up your act and at least start proofreading the articles. After reading this -- your pièce de résistance of ineptitude -- I now recognize the folly of my ways. You are not a learning animal. While Koko the gorilla has been able to learn and utilize American Sign Language to communicate information and emotion intelligently and fluently across species, you, sir, have shown yourself incapable or unwilling to write in the English language within any reasonable, intelligible bounds of syntax, diction, and style. Thus, I will be taking my page views elsewhere (Ball Don't Lie?) from heretofore. Good day.
