I like the Clips roster this year, you got your vets offcourse, but the most important addition I thought was Jamal Crawford bringing to the table singlehandedly what both Mo and Foye did last year combined.

On offense, they are absolutely fine and will have no issues there...If they want to win games and go for a deep run in the playoffs, they will need their 3 defenders to put in some serious work and pick up Blake's slack....
Chris Paul is a ridiculously good defender, so now you got another two excellent all around defenders in Bledsoe and Barnes, and one of the top lockdown paint defenders in the league in DeAndre (if he could only learn to stay out of foul trouble)
IF by some chance they fail in stopping teams from scoring high numbers this year, I really hope they have a mutiny and Del Negro is sent packing, because with this amount of all around talent, it really is ALL on the Coach... I find it ridiculous that he hasn't been fired already

I think and really look at it here, for them to successful this year, they are going to need one thing that was missing last year, and that was DeAndre Jordan playing consistent minutes and giving them a solid double-double every single game day.
Everyone else will fill in their role nicely as they did last year, the only odd guy out was DeAndre, and it's a shame because it was just a mental thing, but hopefully he got it outta his system and is ready to ball.

Oh well, Billups, Hill and Odom are hurt....still got Crawford, Willie Green, Eric Bledsoe, Matt Barnes, Ronny Turiaf, Trey Thompkins (he's good, just need minutes). That's still better then a lot of other benches out there. The Clips are too damn DEEP this year!

Grant Hill played at a high level last year, Odom was a year removed from 6th man of the year and Jamal Crawford is a consistent scoring threat throughout his career? The rest of the group Hollins, Green, Touriaf etc are just that..Depth..This must be a slow news day because this really isn't news.

This means nothing. Guys are coming off of training camp where they were working to get in shape. You're always sore and hurting during training camp. Because they take guys out for precautionary reasons is nothing to write home about. It seems like more injuries because they don't want to sacrifice regular season games. If this starts happening during the regular season, then I'd be a bit concerned, and I think Odom is shaky to begin with.

Seems to me that some teams tend to get caught up on the fact of a player's name or what type of player he use to be a long time ago. And the clippers have a crap load of vets that at some point & time in there career was either a great player or dissent player which by the way now are prone to having injuries more so now than ever. Having that many vets for depth may very well be an disadvantage.
