Video: Another day, another CP3 to Griffin ally-oop dunk

Oct 18, 2012, 10:53 AM EDT

What does it say about us as fans that this kind of play between two of the league’s superstars is so routine as to make us think “that was nice, but they’ve done much better?”

Anyway, here is Chris Paul‘s ally-opp to Blake Griffin in transition from Wednesday night against the Jazz. Monster jam. Yawn. I do like the sideways rotation CP3 gets on the lob.

This play, however, was not the best jam of this game. Not even close.

Hat tip to SLAM.

cakemixedup and nolanweirdo….sound like some mad Faker fans ! Mad cause the REAL ” SHOWTIME” is now the CLIPPERS !!!

    Aahahahahahah !!!

The Clips have the most talented team in Cali and they are putting on a show ! Can’t wait until they take their show on the road and show all of America, they are now the Big Brother!

Most talented? Chris Paul and griffin are all world talents. But after that you just have a lot of solid role players. Lakers have Kobe Dwight pau Nash. It’s not even close.

This is what being a basketball fan is all about ~ we live for these moments! Personally, I don’t think they ever become routine. Nobody does it better than Blake and CP3.

Progress, Showtime was 30 years ago and you are comparing your present team to them. They must have been really great to still be the example by which continue measure your teams progress by. What the Clippers don’t have any previous teams by which to measure this teams “greatness” ha ha- by??

Sure is great to see that smiling handsome white face grinning down from 10,000 feet above the bros. White men can’t jump, we only jump 7’10” in the Summer Games, it’s called the “High Jump “. Griffin gets a decent jumper, game over for NBA, he’ll see double teams like LBJ for the rest of his career. He need start posterizing more centers to get up there with Dr. J Dominque and Vinsanity for street cred jive.Too bad David Thompson burned out too soon, ” Sky Walker was the original Alley -Opper “

Yes only worth 2 points, but a highly entertaining play, that can energize a team as well the crowd, and can demoralize a team all at the same time.

    Basketball is an entertainment afterall.

It excites the crowd for about 18 seconds. However, it really excites the know-nothing fans who go berserk and start high-fiving each other, claiming Griffin “destroyed”(!!!) his defender.
