I just don’t get it, why knuckle push ups? It’s bad under normal conditions, but why would guys as big as Love choose to focus more of their weight into a smaller surface area? That’s just asking for trouble at their size.

2. I wonder if this highly paid, presumably professional trainer knows that knuckle pushups SOLE purpose was to callous the skin on the knuckles of street fighters. He’s an idiot.

These dudes just dont get it! They are CEO’s of multi million dollar business enteprises. Act like it! Kevin Love has full access to a million dollar gym, with dedicated trainers. Why in the hell was he doing knuckle pushups? Does he think he is Bernard Hopkins training in a cell block?

Something about that sounds fishy to me…

All of the pressure is on your knuckles and wrist when doing knuckle push ups- unless they are just generalizing the injury this reminds me of the Brandon Marshall “slipped on McDonald’s bag” story.
