Tyson Chandler is about as one dimensional as you can get. Defense and only defense. He might get you 7-10pts a game, but a healthy Kamen can easily average 13-14 per. Brand is one of the better post defenders in the game. I am also convinced that you don’t watch basketball enough to comment.

Tyson Chandler is the best big man depth Dirk has played with. Chandler is better than Kaman & Brand combined. Again, this is 2012 not 2007.

You are insane. Both Kaman and Brand are starters in this league and now Brand is a backup. Kaman is a good all around center but has issues with staying healthy. Brand is pretty good rebounder/defender.

Kaman & Brand haven’t been considered “incredible depth” since 2006.

Not true, many fans and local reporters want him to go ahead and get his knee scoped. The first few games of the season are very cupcake and the Mavs should be able to maintain without him. Keep in mind that the Mavs now have Kamen and Brand, they have incredible depth for bigs.
