I know you’d like to believe that, @luver, but I doubt it’s gonna happen that way. Best player in the game and a team that looks to have figured out what it takes. Oh, and the roster is deeper than it’s ever been. More like stomp out the Lakers and whoever else wants a piece for the next few years!

This team might AVERAGE 110 pts per game, if they push the tempo and play small ball.

Teams need:

2 (maybe 3) guys to guard LBJ
2 guys to guard Wade
2 guys to guard Bosh

Thats 6 (maybe 7) players, teams need to guard 3 of the Heats players, driving or playing in the paint.

Shooters like Ray, Lewis, Miller, Battier & Chalmers can all obtain record numbers behind the 3, while shooting like they are in a practice / WIDE-OPEN session.

Gonna be fun to watch.

I’m very surprised at Battier’s response (not so much Lewis). Most good jumpshooters are skilled at seeing open shots at least a couple passes away (one for sure) and have already instinctively prepped for the look.
