This is a stupid article.

Any team, whether they got a pending draft pick or not should strive to be the best team they can be.

CHA is going to be the 2nd or 3rd worst team this upcoming season (you can't tell me ORL won't be hands down the worst, the teams best player was the,-for lack of better terms- worst, or least valuble starter on his last team, and a throw away bench scrub on his team before that. When your best players consist of Arron Afflalo, Jameer Nelson, Al Harrington, and Big Baby, along with 7 PF's, 1 C, and a garbage, D-League backup PG, that's a recipe for 9-73!).

The next 3 years is at very least a top 8 protected! So you're telling me they should tank for 4 years and pick up bad contracts for more draft picks so they can keep a stupid draft pick!!?? Where's the logic in that?!

Most of the times high draft picks don't even pan out or live up to the hype, why even risk it? To get the next Olowakandi with the #1? The next Darko or Marvin Williams with the #2? The next Sheldon Williams with the #5? The next Jonny Flynn with the #6? C'mon maaan GTFOH with that dumb ish! Matt, you're better then that!

And even if they get so good in the next 2 years where it's a top 10 protected, SO WHAT? It's a 10! Not too many franchise players left that high anyways. And it's a sign the team is getting better. Fact is is that they will be Top 8 worst for the next 3 years at least so by that time they will have scooped up enough top pick players to load the roster up with anyways, why need more then that?

They need to get as good as they can get before the lose an entire fan base and taint MJ's post bball career to the point he's hated like Isiah Thomas!
