Between a (hopefully) more balanced and productive Melo, Kidd managing the floor, and Felton and Amare on the pick and roll, the Knicks should have better balance on offense.

Games can turn quickly. Yes, the Knicks got steamrolled by the Heat, but they didn’t have Shumpert, Baron Davis (for half of that series), and Amare missed a game and played with a heavily bandaged hand for two games.

If the Knicks click and put it all together, they are a championship caliber team. My money is still that they don’t though.

I think after what happened in the playoffs – Novak not getting his shots off and JR missing just about everything the Knicks see Sheed as that spot shooter. Another 3 ball option if you will.

Veteran players can not be overlooked in the NBA. They provide a lot in terms of basketball IQ

Wonder if they’ll let Sheed have a cane on the court…

Not really sure how this signing helps the Knicks at all. I guess he provides some toughness and maybe the ability to shoot the 3, but we need some youth and some energy off the bench, not someone who’s way past his prime and more likely to get technicals called on him than anything else
