Yet the Heat have acquired “Veterans” on the “Championship” team, players who were just roster fillers and plain benchwarmers also known as the ones who they put in to blantantly clothesline a Pacer(Stephenson).

At least the “Veterans” the Knicks acquired are going to put in work. I’m not saying they are the new Champs, but they will make it past round one regardless of the opponent.

Kidd, Kurt & Camby can still play. Defensively this team will be good. If Melo and Amare can figure it out they will cruise in the East until they run into the C’s or the Heat. Having watched the impact Kurt has of the bench first hand, they are gonna be better than people give them credit for. To me, once they get Shump back the only real weak link is Woody. Can he coach these guys well enough to beat Boston, Indy, Chicago? In a lot of ways him and Vinny Del Negro are in the same boat, although Vinny has more talent.
