When you watch NBA analysts on ESPN everyone looks scripted and they are too lazy to have an overall view of the league. You do not see analysts criticizing others scores that have horrible shooting percentages and you don’t have any analyses about Who would be a good individual matchup on home. All you have is “I love New York”, “I hate Miami” because everyone criticized “us” for “the decision”, and what big-name star can we put a headline to the point of overkill today!!!!!

NBA analysis is unwatchable thanks to ESPN!!

so sick of ESPN hiring former players just so they can name drop. How about hiring people who can actually speak in front of a camera coherently and present intelligent opinions instead of just talking about how much better sports were when you were playing and all the great players you used to play with that no one cares about.

I don’t blame Thomas for trying to get jobs in basketball. But, can’t basketball move on and leave him be? Does he just have some kind of dirt on everybody, that various entities keep hiring him?

Does ESPN/ABC really think he is going to draw in more viewers? He was a very good player, but has failed (often monumentally) at nearly everything else basketball related since his playing days.

At least The guys at NBC criticized general managers and talked about coaches in a tone in which they needed to be fired because of poor performance. Nobody nobody at ESPN does that because they’re too lazy to do any research at the same time it seems as if David Stern has so much Power on ESPN it seems as if you cannot criticize him Or the league.

My goodness, it also seems as if shoe companies have such influence at ESPN. For example Nike was so obsessed in doubling Kobe Bryant’s contract if he went to New York in 2004. The big market thing has been a myth for ages. People just want whatever looks flashier and entertaining and want more of it.
