He should supplement his training regiment with five gallons of biscuits & gravy every morning - and two hours of wind sprints and slam dunks with a medicine ball. Then a sensible dinner.

Seriously, though, he's a capable big guy, but the Heat are gonna need some D down low at some point. This is an NBA season; not just a couple of series against teams without a quality offensive center (Boston, Ok City).

"You’re giving credit where it’s not due. I watched the entire 2012 ECF and it was all about Rondo, James and Garnett, that’s it."

Learn how to watch basketball. Saying Bosh didn't have a big impact because in game 6 he only had 9 points is something I'd expect a kid to say.

Players can have a major impact on a series if even they don't score 20+ points.

Without Bosh in the game, the Heat had to use centers like Anthony and Turiaf who don't have to be guarded on offense. This allowed Garnett to provide help defense whenever Wade or LeBron drove to the basket.

When Bosh started playing in the series, Garnett no longer could offer help defense, which allowed LeBron to go off and score a ton of points.

And while Bosh didn't have a ton of points in game 6, Bosh shot 80% in the series-clinching game 7, scoring 17 points and hitting 2 3-pointers to help break the game wide open in the fourth quarter. The Celtics and Heat were basically even until midway through the fourth quarter, so having a center who could hit jump shots helped quite a bit.

"Roy goes off for 30, 10 & 10"

Roy Hibbert averaged WAY less than that in the playoff series against the Heat even after Bosh was injured. Hibbert didn't manage to regularly beat the undersized Joel Anthony at Center...so I don't see Hibbert doing better against the Heat WITH Bosh in the game.

After coming back sooner than he should have to be a key part of the Heat’s title run last season (he changed the Boston series and was key against Oklahoma City). He did? I thought Lebron had more to do with the outcome of the ECF and Finals. Kurt, again you're being disingenuous to readers on here. Anyone with a brain saw that Lebron had a lot do with the outcome of the ECF, sure Bosh is key factor in anything Miami does, but he didn't change the outcome of the ECF.

You're giving credit where it's not due. I watched the entire 2012 ECF and it was all about Rondo, James and Garnett, that's it. Bosh played game 5 and still got outplayed by Garnett. Anyone that knows their bball history knows KG has dominated Bosh for yrs. Game 6, was all Lebron's 45pts. Bosh only had 9pts.

Give Lebron his credit.

Cant wait til they play Indy. Roy goes off for 30, 10 & 10. Lets get serious, yes he helped them win it all but this is the nba, coaches figure out ways to get you out of your game plan. His bail out plan is named Lebron James, because non of that crap would work otherwise.

Though Bosh is an easy target to make fun (his in-game screams don't exactly help his cause), he is honestly a likeable guy. He's one of the most down to Earth All-Stars in any sport. I expect him to have another solid year being the glue-guy for Miami. Without Bosh last year the Heat don't make the Finals let alone win it.
