Floppinng?? The nba needs a system in place (ala nfl)that hold referees more accountable for bad calls. Until otherwise, the league is fixed if you ask me.

I agree, they should have a policy like they have for Technical fouls. Then you will see who the real floppers are.

Until players start getting suspensions nothing will change. And until that happens, it’s hard to blame players if it helps win games.

It doesn’t say it will be a fine. It says possible fine. It could also be a one game suspension, no one knows. But assuming a fine is all they are going to get is just absurd. There is no in-game penalty, because it will have to be reviewed after the fact.

It won’t be a deterrent come play-off time. If flopping can help you advance in to another round, a lot of players will feel the fine is worth it.

Yeah, the threat of a fine is going to stop flopping. Every team/coach will gladly cover a fine for any flop that helps win a game.
