What happened to Chase Budinger? Wasn’t he one of the additions that was supposed to help out, at least to add depth? I keep seeing this story on various sites today, listing all the other players, but no one is mentioning Budinger. I just find it odd.

Nbascreed, the answer is yes. Yes, the nuggets are a better team without Melo because of the players acquired. That team has chemistry now. In fact, the Nuggets have actually won more games than the Knicks after the trade.

Are they really better w/o him? I’ve heard people parrot that meme but it seems all based on emotion vis-a-vis how you felt about Melo. I don’t really think they are a better team. Melo, Chauncey, et al at their peak was pretty formidable.

Carmelo? Seriously. You’re comparing Melo’s departure to Garnett and James. Melo doesn’t make players around him better. Garnett and James does.

The Timberwolves and Cavs are prime examples of when dominate superstars in Garnett and James leave the after effects aren’t good. Just saying.
