Someone just please take him, Utah doesn’t want him. He is a big baby who acts tough but gets prissy like a 13 year old girl(so says one of my friends who is a girl).
Honestly Jazz have 4 new sign ons, and 4 more who would work better with the Jazz. No dis on him, but come on, who doesn’t play during the playoffs cause your mad at the coach. I would be surprised to see a championship team take on someone who is so un-professional!

why’s that? because i didn’t put fancy labels in front of each player? Raja Bell is a wing player. He can play both positions, as can many of those guys that i listed. Basketball is a game of roles more than positions. Raja Bell is a three point shooter who specializes in defense. Sound like anyone else i mentioned up there?

The Heat have plenty of shooters. They have plenty of wings. What they don’t have is a (good) point guard and a (real) center. Raja is neither

Raja is fine playing either wing spot. He’s a natural 2, but they could easily throw Wade and Raja out at the same time. That is, if there weren’t already 6 wing players on the roster. Dwayne will get a ton of minutes at the two and what’s left over should really go to Ray. With that being said Mike Miller has played the 2 quite a bit in his career and James Jones is capable of filling in, as is Battier. Chalmers and Cole will get the majority of pg minutes with Wade getting some as well and the three spot is taken care of with the above players mentioned. The Minutes aren’t there.

Plus they already have a full roster with several players coming in with non-guaranteed’s as well.

Raja Bell is a 2 guard. The same position as Dwayne Wade, Ray Allen, and Mike Miller (who signed a 30 million dollar contract). Not to mention Battier and Rashard Lewis who can play a wing position as well. The Heat have no need for Raja Bell. Wing player’s are already in a crunch for minutes.

Since 4 of the 6 guys you just mentioned don’t play Raja’s position, I’m going to go ahead and disagree. The Heat are committing to small ball this season which opens up a few extra minutes for any guard or small forward. After Ray Allen, Wade & Chalmers there is a void that will either be filled by Norris Cole if he has improved or possibly a free agent pickup like Raja Bell. He wouldn’t get a ton of minutes but could easily be part of a crunch time lineup for his excellent 3 point shot & defense. I’d sign him if for no other reason than to piss off Kobe in the event of a finals matchup with the Lakers.

No he wouldn’t. As unlikely as it would be for the Heat to offer him a contact, he’d still be behind Lebron, Wade, Ray Allen, Shane Battier, Mike Miller, and James Jones on the Depth Chart. There is officially no chance Raja Bell “plays” for the heat if the Jazz buy him out

Why would the Heat be interested in Raja Bell? They have Chalmers, Wade, LeBron, Ray Allen, Battier, Miller, and Rashard Lewis that can play on the perimeter. Miami will already be trying to find these players decent minutes (Probably Unsuccessfully). The Heat need to focus on improving their biggest weakness. SIZE. They received a favorable match up in the finals last year playing OKC which lacked interior scoring. Playing Chris Bosh at center will not get it done if they run into the Lakers with Dwight and Pau in the finals.
