Jesus dude! Do you actually look for the one sentence, or sentence fragment that might be considered disparaging in each and every posting? I dont like everything he has to say about the Celtics either, but I don’t cry and whine about it all day!!

You Lakers fans want a place to voice your opinions, but Kurt isn’t allowed his?
Or any other non Lakers fans for that matter?
You guys are pathetic. Because some people think the lakers have to prove it, we are haters……Uff.

Derision, Kurt, is not hate. Synonyms would be disdain, dig, disparagement; and those are just the D’s. Nothing is funnier to me on this site than those authors who claim no biases, yet write articles that clearly prove otherwise. Admission of a problem is the first step in solving it.

As a long-time Laker fans that watched Mike Brown in Cleveland, I assure you all that something is going to go very, very wrong with Brown coaching that team.

From the screwball roles he assigns people to some of the worst coaching you will ever see in the second half of playoff games, this guy is a disaster. He was a disaster last year for the Lakers in the playoffs, and for some reason no one pinned it on him, it was all put on the players.

You can always tell a Mike Brown team. He players are standing around on the floor not quite sure what they’re supposed to do. The same players that can play for other coaches and look like stars doing it.

The Lakers need to go to Kobe Bryant in early November as the players did when they had Magic talk to Jerry Buss about coach Paul Westhead. The Lakers won the championship that year.

on the defensive end…that was the focus. ben wallace was a defensive player. it’s a discussion as to whther dwight can be on the ben wallace (prime yrs) defensive wise (rebounds, blocks, steal, shot altering)

Kurt, you can’t say ANYTHING that isn’t positive about the Lakers, don’t you know that? I don’t hate the Lakers either, its a majority of the fanbase that makes my skin crawl.

Why is it only the thinskinned Laker fans that cry so much about your “bias”.

I thought the same thing, but Howard can play greater than Ben Wallace, he needs to play a Bill Russell type of role. He can be the 4th option on offense, but he can block/alter shots, eat the glass, and set a lot of picks, and become a decoy offensively. I’m not expecting him to have any great post moves, but if Kareem can teach him something, it’s to become a better passer. If I’m not mistaken, he averaged 1.4 AST for his career, he needs to learn how to become a better outlet passer, especially in the Princeton sets.

What’s the point in having someone who seems to be a fan of every team in the NBA except the Lakers constantly writing stories about the Lakers? Brown gave an honest assessment of a player he has yet to coach and that he feels is going to be a great defender of a long-time Laker shortcoming: Pick and rolls.

If you didn’t find anything worthwhile in the interview, Kurt, why write about it except to (once again) show your derision of all things Laker? I found your summation an appropriate metaphor for own bias. If Brown’s comments weren’t much of a “show,” then your own opinion is even less so.Drive safely. Please come again.

remember the years when ben wallace was a defensive STUD ? rebounding animal and when he blocked shots when his fro was blown out, he just looked awesome. lol. dwight howard should play that role. of course minus the hair.
