There are a several new players with experienced gunning for a job. One particular rookie (i.e. Cunningham) shall add some weight on Roddy’s shoulders too.

His rookie year, he was just playing the game and scoring, but once they started asking him to run plays, set guys up, ect… it took him out of rhythm. I think he could flourish in an uptempo style of offense as a 2 guard, but I’m not sure that will be here in Dallas.

Also, he has VERY good defensive ability, but the problem was, he was focused one game and not the next.

Like Rick said, he might put it all together as he had a little bit of a learning curve coming out and he definitely has been injured year 2-3, but he just really needs to be focused and confident to play like he did his rookie year.

On top of that, he hasn’t shown himself capable of handling an NBA workload without his body breaking down by the two thirds mark of the season. I think he finds his wy back to coach’s dog house by the all-star break.
