Amazing that it took him so long to get a head coaching job.

The Cavs could have fired Mike Brown 2 years earlier, and hired him. If they had, the Cavs would have at least 2 championships and Lebron would still be in Cleveland.

Unlessss……they don’t pony up, LA cans Mike Brown and swoops up on Tommy!
I was one of a small few that was pulling for the Lakers to go Brown last year, and I really don’t have toooo much of a problem with him other then his offense and scandelous love afair with Steve Blake, but if we could just snatch up Thibbs that would be monumental! That coach does soooo much with soooo little, imagine what he could do with the Lakers and their personnel!

The one thing that worries me is Scalabrine didn’t join the staff. Reports were he really wants to coach and there was a spot. Rumors are he didn’t take because he wasn’t sure how this will end and didn’t want to bring around it.
