It’s good for MWP to show confidence in the preseason but the only thing that counts is actually playing to match the hyping of another title run. After two disappointing seasons it’s great to see the team thinking seriously about winning another championship. Go Lakers!

^^ The only players I saw get by Ron are players that get by everyone. Supposedly, Artest weighs less now then he did at any point last season. That has to help. He, or no one, can stop LBJ or Durant. But Ron does a better job of it than anyone.

Show me a sports team’s fans that downplay expectations. Part of the fun of watching sports is having great expectations for your team of choice. Laker fans have every reason to believe their organization will be very successful this year, just as they have been in years past.

The crack about winning two O’Brien trophies a year is pretty delusional, since only one is presented each year. I think you might have known that, but felt a need to mock Laker fans. The Laker fan base is no more delusional than some of your posts, Kurt. And some of them even know how to proofread their material.

Jamison averaged 6.3 rebounds a game last season on a bad team where he was probably their best player. Probably. That’s hardly a great rebounding number. It’s good, not great. Ron Ron should scale it back on hyping Jamison

well, seeing as how everyone in the game is subject to chemistry, leadership and injury, that makes it a level playing field, and with that said, the lakers look to be in better shape than most in terms of talent, as world peace claims.

A lot will have to go right for the Lakers to win this year. You can also say the same for the Heat and the Thunder……or for any team in the Championship finals. It is a sport game subject to chemistry, leadership and injury. That’s why they play the games.
