A Rewards card at that. When I’m choosing my rewards it’s picking from stuff like Ipods, Nntendo DS & reduced airfare. With MJ’s it was probably “Which island would you like to own Mr. Jordan?”

so this is what our society has come to. it’s true what they say..one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. in this instance, the treasure is plastic. there are fans and there are fanatics. each in my opinion are entitled to their level of devotion, even if they tread stalker-ish…actually, never mind the stalker part. but yea, i’m not the type to bid on something like this…or a tissue that your favorite celebrity crush blew their nose in..or an article of underwear. nah, not that type..i can admire to the pinnacle..but i dunno if i can bid for things on the level of expired credit cards. i mean, i can understand the premise here for those that DO want this. the idea that the athlete you adorn used this item, touched it frequently, held it in his wallet, traveled with it, has his name imprinted on it..i sorta get the idea these fans yearn for the feeling of closeness with their idol. or maybe simply put, they think it’s too cool not to have, plain and simple. i get it. but i just wont GET it.
