He ran this team into the ground as a coach and a GM, something that took Donnie Walsh years to untangle, sexually harassed a Knicks employee and cost the team $11.5 million in that lawsuit, not to mention completely ran the CBA out of existence and buried both the Pacers and the Raptors…What is it gonna take for Dolan to stop being so stupid? Is it possible to petition Stern to have the Knicks taken away and given to someone competent? He is the single worst owner in sports and what’s worse is he doesn’t even care what happens to this team…If Isaiah is rehired then I might seriously take the subway over to MSG and drop my jerseys on the sidewalk in front and wash my hands of this team…I can tolerate losing but stupidity I cannot take and bringing this guy back would be the absolute height of stupidity

The fact that the Pistons have never hired him to do anything post-playing, when he was possibly the most popular player they have ever had, speaks volumes.

Seriously, if Dolan brings Isiah back in any capacity above janitor, Troll Stern should take away the franchise on the grounds of “gross stupidity”, not just “in the best interests of the league”.

You are an absolute moron! Everyone deserves a 2nd chance? Have you seen Isiah’s pathetic resume? He destroyed a Pacers playoff team. He destroyed the Toronto Raptors. He caused the CBA to fold. He ruined the Knicks for almost 10 years & was guilty of sexual harassment. He was a disaster in college basketball. Let’s not forget, he tried unsuccessfully to commit suicide & threw his own daughter under the bus.

Hell has officially frozen over Knick fans—-can’t wait for those “winning” personnel moves of Thomas—Jerome James, Steve Francis, Eddy Curry—if you were above average height overpaid or of limited offensive skill and acumen Isiah will pay you to suck at basketball! James Dolan obviously has no other friends in life—I think he should have Shaq to be GM—I honestly can’t think of GM that has torpedoed a franchise worse than Thomas!

In my opinion, John Houston Stockton, the NBA career leader in steals and assists (still) should be in that #2 spot. He was clutch, annoying as hell as a defender, and had insane floor vision.

sorta feels like thomas is getting the iverson treatment as an executive. not every business man hits on all cylinders. not every choice will be a home run. seems like people ignore what thomas did well because the bad overshadows it. that’s fair, but he brought some good players to indiana and ny. he signed some bad contracts too. who hasn’t. but people get smarter. thomas will be part of a team of decision makers, and if dolan can just use him for his strengths i don’t care.
